SAILING CAMP 2006
SAILING CAMP 2006 was such a BLAST!!

Definitely rawk bottom.. Way better than stopid amb camp by a million times. Amb camp has always been just a camp for me to enjoy the times with my sweets, wanching and several closer frenz in amb, not for the sense of belonging at all. I think amb camp just lacks in tat, always dull and standard. (shoots, did i just criticise amb? i guess not? that is actually the fact? oOOo.. those who actually printed out what my dear frenz, Calista wrote in her blog and pasted it in amb room shall burnt to death in hell) opps.. this was actually a long story. Some BI*CHES who just flipped the whole story around and turned it against my friend. The camp was awesome. The biggest project that the new sailing committee has ever done and i am truly amazed by them.

Friday started out with a few ice-breaking games. Thou they were just typical games i would have played in sports camp,
Lining up
it entirely works better with better crowd.

After that, it was theory lesson which was in a mess, everyone didnt really know what they were talking about? haha...
theory theory
While i was lying down on the floor, MY WORST DIZZY SPELL struck me.. My god.. kept vomitting and vommitting. Even puked out the cookies tat Sheryl made.
Sheryl babe, ur cookies were superb and i m sorry that i puked them. It was just the dizzy spells.

Missed the physical and gym training which was good?
training
I could conserve energy for my match on sat, however, i got the mini test papers marked.

In the night, we had this game battlefield, it was all good. Makes us felt like detectives.
poor vic and i
Victoria and i were so sad tat we were caught as captive.
But however, it kinda turned crazy after they changed the rule which u have to just whack tat person and pulled out the green string tat eliminate him or her. It was a real hectic night, couldnt get to sleep. In my mind, i was all strategizing for the coming match. phew...

Saturday started out with normal water training with Tracey as the coach. As usual, i would be serious out there, doing my best. I did kind of slack by depowering my sail more to avoid too much hiking out. Wind condition was great but there were a couple of shifts. Back to skool for lunch and i left for match...........

DAMN UNHAPPY with the organiser. My fixture was supposed to be at 5pm. Thanks god i reached at 4pm and was there when the match started at 4.30pm. Played with the Nicole Tan from SCC-t2, got trashed like 9-2, 9-4 for first two set. After some serious preaching by uncle sam, Really got into it and i must say i was pretty agressive with those drop and kills. Opps.. sorry nic. Hate to go back my camp with defeat, would simply spoil the mood. After the matchpoint, vroooomm.. i chiong off to bath and hopped onto Belle dad car.

Made the right choice in joining Sarah, Pauline and Victoria in town for amazing race -sailor style. Bumped into Melissa babe... oH GOsh.. been long since we met.
1st stop: Istana Park where we met Alvin who got us to count the number of silly triangles of the fountain top. Off to 2nd stop, Ikea where we met Joel ho, navigate thru and finding a picture at Ikea was definitely a breeze to me, i have been there like thrice in two weeks time. Thanks you, Joel for the hotdog treat. Bus 61 to SIM which was where we cannot stop taking hard to take picture with our gigantic faces on the small SIM building and back to school. Our two stops were Ikea and Istana Park. Other groups went to climb Bukit Timah Hill and Mac Ritche. Thats why i said it was the right choice to join Sarah and all.

After which, we had walking the blind mice.blind blind
They simply blindfolded us and led us to the sports complex where they unveiled this really big heart shaped msg 'Thank you, old bird' in lightstick.. OooO my god. Thou i expected some farewell thingy to be going on but the lightsticks caught me off guard. VIP, TJ came down.
VIP
VIP and me..

After the buffet, we were brought to this room full of balloons.

We were each giving a short speech. Cant helped but have to feel real sad as good and bad memories kept flashing back. We were presented a video of all the fun memories of sailing. Supposed to be sobbing but well, they did it in the hilarious way. Hee..
Tee and certificate

Back of the shirt
The old birds got a certificate (thanks for giving me the title of Fiercest President in sailing history) as well as a lovely and sweet handmade tee shirt.

Sunday was a great morning of captain ball in the pool and swimming relays. Punto had been really funny. (onli some would know what i m talking about) *evil grin* Dennis, you are such a meanie. Someone is gonna call me to tell me that the kettle is calling the pot black. The camp ended with a lunch out at KFC bukit timah with tonnes of lugguages.

Lastly, kudos to the camp organiser, committee 06/07!
