Pelapah Waterfall
My first oversea's trip with the school to Pelapah Waterfall. Although short in distance, the trek is generally fine except for a few steep sections. The trail follows the path of the waterfall stream, and is basically a WET river trek as we spend 60% of our time hiking upstream in the clear river streams ( on occasions up to knee or even waist level water ! ) or along the river side trail. The main challenge are the four steep, at times almost vertical, slopes & slippery waterfall boulders. There are fixed ropes which we can use to assist ourselves up & down these sections and may require some climbing and scrambling up on all fours - with a lot of caution; pretty slippery ( and potentially hazardous ) but definitely interesting & challenging. my initial plan was to get a trip that is of relaxation cos i really wanted something to relax my mind. BUT? It's like tiring after the whole Pelapah waterfall trip. nothing much thou....
