FRIENDSHIP
Dedicated to all my lovely friends   I've come to realize something.  Some people whom we call friends are in fact just acquaintances.  We meet, we say "Hi" and we say "Bye".  I have known some for so long, yet it never gets past the Hi-Bye level.  And yet, for some, I have only known them for a few weeks, some a few days, and we can already share our thoughts usually kept within our heart's walls.  Of course, it is human that we do not share everything with any Tom, Dick and Harry.

We choose some to be closer to us and some to be so-so, and yet some others, we reject.   What makes this so? Solely my opinion.  It is the interest, the frankness and the trust that we sense in each other.  The mutual interest gives us something to talk about.  The frankness breaks the barrier that exists between two strangers.  The trust washes away the fear of sharing.  This, of course, has to be a two-way thing.  No one can continue giving without receiving. We have what in called a "Friendship Bank" in us.

When we share our thoughts with others, it is like withdrawing from this bank.   We need to deposit into the bank by listening to others share their thoughts.   Otherwise, this bank will be drained and the friendship dies away.  So, friends, start sharing today...
